Let’s get the ball rolling.
Email Me. Write a brief explanation describing the
state and scope of your photo collection (i.e. - negatives in a box mixed with prints and slides, 5 shoeboxes full, tons on the computer) and what you ultimately want to do with the photos based on
the services I offer under the “Services” section of this
website.
Let’s Talk. From there we can set up an initial conversation, followed by a thorough review of your collection.
How much will it cost? I’ll send you a detailed estimate for your consideration before I dive in!
More About Pattie McNab

With over 10 years of experience in photojournalism, I now run my own photo editing and consultancy business based in New York City.
After receiving my degree from the well-regarded Journalism school at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, I landed my first job at a small North Carolina newspaper as a staff photographer and page designer, followed by a 10-month stint as a designer and photo editor at Baseball America magazine. From there, I moved to New York City to become a Photo Editor for The Associated Press, working on several major news stories including the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole and the 1992 Bush/Gore Election. I then freelanced on an array of multimedia projects for Kodak.com.
My last “9 to 5” job was with Getty Images. As Senior Editor in the photo assignment department, I represented and marketed photographers to clients while collaborating on documentary stories. Everyday, I guided photographers on the layout of their portfolios through editing and image selection for publication.
Now, when I am not freelance editing for photographers around the world, I apply those same photojournalistic instincts and aesthetics, honed from years in the newsrooms, to photo archival and organization for individuals and families.
As a mom, I have my own digital archive with thousands of images of my family. I understand the need to control the clutter. By reaching out to families like mine, I can use my expertise to keep precious memories organized and accessible for the next generation to enjoy.
